Brendan Hicks, Yuka Hicks & Michael Totham | Polarity

Polarity, a group exhibition by Brendan Hicks, Yuka Hicks & Michael Totham

In contrast to the rise of Al generated work, three local artists draw from something deeply human and timeless: the way people interpret their experiences, make sense of the world around them, and turn both the difficult and joyful parts of life into artistic expression.

Polarity, by Brendan and Yuka Hicks and Michael Totham, explores opposites and contrasts, and how they can come together to tell one complete story.
The work reflects the idea that artistic expression draws on the full range of human experience, joy and sadness, light and dark, tension and calm, to create something authentic and whole.
