Winners announced! Northern Territory Art Award 2026

The 2026 Northern Territory Art Award prize winners were announced at the official opening and award ceremony at Midpul Gallery on Friday 29 May.

The People's Choice winner will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibition. Be sure to cast your vote, in person, when you visit the exhibition!

First Prize: Rebecca Parker, Garth Rosco Davis on his grandmother's country, Arrnyraybaykda, Arnhem Land, 2024

Second Prize: Gretel Bull, The tongue meets the flower, and the flower meets the tongue, 2025

Third Prize (Sponsored by Power and Water): Joseph Jungarayi Williams, Purntulku (Wise Man), 2025

Honourable Mention (with thanks to Charles Darwin University): Rhenz Flores, Untitled, 2026
