Reflections of a Wandering Soul, a solo exhibition by Nisita
Reflections of a Wandering Soul expands on Nisita’s debut solo exhibition, Pieces of Me, taking her ‘Artistic Wander’ practice further into new depth and feeling. Spanning textured paintings, abstracts, ceramics and painted pots. Some born from her Ceramics residency at Tactile Arts Darwin, this exhibition is less about the finished piece and more about the process itself, art as a way of healing, grounding and finding solace. A lifelong wanderer from childhood road trips across India, NZ and Australia, Nisita observes, reflects and expresses what travel and memory evoke: love, longing, belonging and comfort. Across every medium, the work becomes a quiet form of coming home.
