Dorothea Janczewska and Renata Robinson | Echoes of the Earth and Soul
Echoes of the Earth and Soul, a group exhibition by Renata Robinson and Dorothea Janczewska
Echoes of Earth and Soul brings together Polish-born, Darwin-based artists Renata Robinson and Dorothea Janczewska as they reflect on migration, belonging and making the Northern Territory home. Renata’s portrait works explore human presence, character and identity, while Dorothea’s abstract works focus on land, emotion and the feeling of place. Through different visual languages, the exhibition considers how living between cultures changes the way we see ourselves, others and the landscapes around us. Together, their works create a dialogue between Poland and Darwin, memory and present life, inviting viewers to connect with culture, transition, belonging and shared human experience in Australia.
