Opening 6pm Friday 14th of May 2021
Showing from the 14th May - 29th May
Much of artists Simone Porrovecchio's work would be described as dark humoured. But sometimes, it's just dark. In her first solo exhibition, Simone uses a combination of interactive mixed media sculpture and painting to explore the relationship between darkness and light, turmoil and humour, childlike delight and adult horror.
DVA welcomes proposals by emerging and established artists, and applications for solo, collaborative or group exhibitions, pop-up shows, curators and community groups. Proposals due Monday 22 October 2026.
