Valérie Baya, a visual artist from Mauritius, replicates the sceneries of her native island, as well as its unique landscapes. Interior architect, childcare educator, and an entrepreneur by profession—as well as author and fashion model— Valérie spends her spare time painting, mostly for the Mauritian migrants in Australia. She also does acrylic portraits on canvas or paper as her main medium, while currently exploring other art mediums such as abstract representations.

Valérie is constantly challenging herself by arousing more awareness of her devotion to other communities in Australia.
