In this throw-away society that we live in, I make a diligent effort to ‘hoard’ as much as I can, but what am I to do with all this ‘stuff’?
The time has come to Rehash all these collected items and give them a new purpose by incorporating them into my art work.
By way of appropriating, layering and collaging I hope to connect a range of rather disconnected subjects together into one unified piece. I am using famous still life compositions as a platform to then replace, transform but connect a range of traditional subjects with familiar ones here in the tropical zone.
