Liz Grylls | Brainscapes

Brainscapes is a colourful, chaotic look at the human brain-through abstract paintings full of shape, texture, and energy. These works don’t aim to explain the brain, but to feel it: its messiness, its moods, its moments of clarity and confusion. The titles add another layer-sometimes funny, sometimes sharp, always part of the story. They’re not just names-they help shape the experience. This isn’t a science lesson, and it doesn’t offer answers. It’s a space to sit with the strange, shifting nature of thought-and maybe see the mind a little differently: less clinical, more alive.
