Habitat is the first solo show of Darwin ceramist Megan Wild.

For this show, Megan has used stoneware paper clay, low- and mid-fire glazes to create sculptures and wares depicting creatures and scenes of the natural environment.

“My work extends beyond the realm of Australian Wildlife but for this recent collection of pieces, I chose to convey my deep gratitude to Darwin for giving me a home and place to heal and thrive. The diversity of animals present in the Northern Territory is astounding. I see a profound love of nature amongst the community with a passion for conservation. I hope to recreate this beauty and uniqueness in my art whilst pursuing my obsession with clay”.
