Damien Jowett | Forgotten

Have you ever spent so long not talking to other people that when you finally did, your voice cracked? Have you ever been somewhere so remote that if you died, no-one would know and you might not be found for weeks - if ever?

Extreme isolation, social combined with geographical, is almost a place of non-existence. A place so quiet, yet where the mind screams loudly.

These were the feelings I was trying to escape when I bought a camera while living and working alone overseas, yet they came through the lens and are still my favourite themes to shoot.
