This small exhibition of ten paintings celebrates the powerful connection Mrs Deutrom feels between art and music.
The year 2020 marked the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig Van Beethoven.
From the outset Geraldeen sought to explore the strong connection between her love of painting and her lifelong love of the music of Beethoven,
in this instance, his nine symphonies.

Geraldeen decided to do this by painting the hands that play the instruments and direct the music which provides her with such enjoyment.
Each of the nine paintings has a connection with one of Beethoven's symphonies; the tenth painting relates to Beethoven’s exquisite Emperor piano concerto.
